Google Free Website Workshop Tomorrow in RVA: Free Admission
(Richmond, Va.) Richmond-area small businesses can get a free website and domain name with monthly Google workshop on January 24th in English and Spanish, with free admission for the general public. The workshops will consist of two hours each, training and setting up attendees with all the knowledge and tools they need to optimize their web presence. Google is partnering with the Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit organization dedicated to cross-cultural commerce and economic development, bringing Google employees and materials to teach the workshops at the Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce headquarters in Chesterfield. The workshop will be held on Tuesday, January 24th from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. The Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is offering these workshops free to their Members, with only a small administrative fee to prospective Members, and all backgrounds are welcome to register.

(Tysons Corner, Va.) Small businesses in Northern Virginia will have a perk to start 2012: cost-free assistance with their marketing plan, in English and Spanish. On January 26th at 6:00pm, The Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will provide this help at the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority in Tysons Corner, at the “Bridges 4 Business” bilingual networking group. With free admission, Hispanic small business owners are invited to attend for networking and knowledge. “This is the perfect opportunity for Hispanic business owners in Northern Virginia to network with each other to grow their success with the information provided in our marketing plan seminar. This information is part of the goal of the Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, to build economic development and cross-cultural commerce in our community.”
