(Tysons Corner, Va.) Business owners will get expert advice and inspiration on January 31st at Capital One headquarters, with keynote speaker Lynette Spano, Fortune 500 Hispanic CEO based in Virginia, and a panel discussion on “Business opportunities in the Commonwealth of Virginia,” featuring several state agencies.
The panel will include Will Vehrs of the Virginia Department of Business Assistance, Mark Cartwright of Supplier Diversity for the Commonwealth of Virginia, and Anna Urman of the Women’s Business Center of Northern Virginia, and Mike Jones of Capital One, and the SBA.
“The goal of this event is to inform people on business opportunities with the state of Virginia. We’ve chosen our panel of speakers to provide a wide variety of expertise on this topic. Also, we hope to motivate attendees with Ms. Spano’s own success story as a Hispanic business owner,” said Mary Sirvent, Northern Virginia Regional Director for the Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

The event, free to VAHCC Members, begins at 7:30am until 11:30am, with breakfast provided. Attendees may register online at or call (703) 790-0303.
